      Notes from the Pastor......

Next weekend, October 4 and 5, we celebrate as a Church Respect Life Sunday. This year’s theme, Each Of Us Is A Masterpiece of God’s Creation, reflects the mission of our Holy Father, Pope Francis.

Pope Francis, who has captivated the world with his humility and compassion, shows through his actions the words he spoke in 2013: “Even the weakest and most vulnerable, the sick, the old, the unborn and the poor, are masterpieces of God’s creation, made in his own image, destined to live forever, and deserving of the utmost reverence and respect.”
Please pray for an end to abortion, euthanasia, and all acts, systems and ideologies that do not support the dignity of life.
In celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, (October 4) the patron of animals and the environment, we will have a special Blessing of  the Animals for your pets next Sunday, October 5!

We ask that you bring your pets to the Courtyard of the Holy Family Center at 4:00 PM.  (Dogs should be leashed or crated, and cats should be crated!)  You can bring your birds, your fish or your large animals in a trailer!
Please join us with your families as we celebrate God’s creation on the Feast of St. Francis!    –Fr. Scott
