ADORATION CHAPEL: The Blessed Sacrament is reserved for adoration by all the faithful in the St. Pius X Chapel located in the rear of the Church building. HOME MISSIONS: This special collection is for the needs of the missions within our own diocese. There are civil parishes and other areas that have very few Catholics. There are also rural areas where only elderly remain and the population is dwindling. You are asked to let your charity begin at home so that assistance can be given to these needy areas to sustain the Gospel message. You may use the envelope in your monthly packet or a pew envelope clearly marked.

ATTENTION 10TH GRADERS who are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Letters and registration forms were mailed out last week to all 10th graders registered at St. Rita Church. If you are interested, please fill out the registration form and return as soon as possible. Confirmation preparation, a two-year program, begins in the Sophomore year and ends with the Sacrament of Confirmation during Spring 2018. Classes begin in September. For the past several years, the Bishops of the United States have asked us to celebrate a Fortnight For Freedom, specifically to pray for peace and for the protection of our religious liberties. The Fortnight For Freedom began on June 21 and concludes on July 4. At St. Rita, we invite you to join us for our Independence Day Mass, Monday, July 4 at 8 AM, at which we will celebrate the Fortnight For Freedom.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS: If you are celebrating a 25, 40, 50, 60, 65 or 70th wedding anniversary in 2016, we would like to honor you on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the 11:00 Mass and present you with a Papal Blessing in honor of your marriage from the Holy Father, Pope Francis. MENARD EAGLETTES SUMMER DANCE CAMP: Young dancers, entering Kindergarten through 6th grade, are invited to attend a Summer Dance Camp July 25-29 at Holy Savior Menard, sponsored by the Golden Eaglettes and Emerald Eaglettes dancelines. The camp will be held from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM daily, with a final dance performance for parents on July 29 at 1:00 PM. Extended daycare is available until 4:00 PM for only $25 per day. Cost is $85.
