HOME MISSIONS: This special collection is for the needs of the missions within our own diocese. There are civil parishes and other areas that have very few Catholics. There are also rural areas where only elderly remain and the population is dwindling. You are asked to let your charity begin at home so that assistance can be given to these needy areas to sustain the Gospel message. You may use the envelope in your monthly packet or a pew envelope clearly marked.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CHURCH HOME you are cordially invited to join the St. Rita Parish family. Green Parish Census/Registration forms are located at all doors. If you are not Catholic, now might be a great time to investigate the possibility. You are certainly welcome! Regardless of place of residence anyone may register and belong to any parish by diocesan law.
WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS: If you are celebrating a 25, 40, 50, 60, 65 or 70th wedding anniversary in 2015, we would like to honor you on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the 11:00 Mass and present you with a Papal Blessing in honor of your marriage from the Holy Father, Pope Francis. If you would like to participate, please call the Church Office at 445-7141 ext 214. Deadline is September 1, 2015.
